WS 13Dieting and Maintenance: A Cognitive Behavioral Approach
People who fail to lose weight or keep it off have not learned essential cognitive and behavioral techniques contained in The Beck Diet Solution: Train Your Brain to Think like a Thin Person, for example, how to motivate yourself every day, cope with hunger and craving, and stick to your plan.
WS 35Successful Dieting and Maintenance: Dealing with Emotional Issues
Someone with a flashback experiences an intense traumatic memory as if it were happening to them again. Learning how to view the same memory as if it were happening to someone else on a small, distant movie screen eliminates the intense unpleasant feeling, while preserving important learning. There will be a live demonstration.
