Biography
Julia Alperovich, MS, MFT, has worked in the mental health field for over 10 years and has primarily focused on treating addictions for the majority of her career. She is currently a primary therapist at a luxury residential drug and alcohol treatment facility in Malibu, California. She also has a private practice in which she specializes in treating sex and porn addiction and in working with partner betrayal trauma. She is originally from the Soviet Union, speaks 5 languages, and provides treatment in 3 of those. Her training includes a specialized Master’s of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seton Hall University with a focus on addiction and neurophysiology, extensive internship experience in a structural family therapy training institute under a disciple of Dr. Salvador Minuchin, and several years of experience in community mental health, non-profit, private practice, intensive outpatient and residential treatments settings. She is also a certified executive functioning coach and a CSAT candidate.
